  • Rule 1 - Noun ending with "o" is masculine
  • Rule 2 - Noun ending with 'a' is feminine
  • Rule 3- Noun ending with 'ma' is masculine
  • Rule 4- Noun ending with sion, cion, tad, dad, tud, umbre are feminine
  • Rule 5- Noun ending with 'or' are masculine
  • Rule 6- Noun ending with ' age' is masculine
  • Rule 7- Some words are always plural
  • Rule 8- Some words are always plural even when they are singular
  • Rule 9- While changing from singular to plural 'z' changes to 'c'
