Argentina

Argentina is in South America and borders Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil and Chile through the Andes.
It has an area of 2,780,000 square km.
The capital is called Buenos Aires and is located to the east, on the right bank of the Rio de la Plata estuary.

To the south are the regions of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, almost polar climate; to the north the plain of El Chaco; to the east and in the center the green plains of the Pampa.

It has 36 million inhabitants, and a third lives in the capital.
The official language is Spanish, but in some places indigenous languages are also spoken.

Some animals of Argentina are in danger of extinction: the blue whale, the yaguareté, the red fox, the chinchila and the ocelot.

La lengua oficial es el español, pero en algunos lugares también se hablan lenguas indígenas.
